Marina di Massa
Marina di Massa is a famous seaside resort that offers sandy beaches, hotels and holyday camps.
The area is characterized by more than ten artificial shores that distinguish this coast from the other Tuscan coasts. Artificial seashores, created to stop the erosion that otherwise could destroy the beaches, are 8,5 km long, extend from the beach to the sea for hundreds of metres. They are 6 to 10 metres wide and 200 metres far from each other.
Thanks to Marina di Massa’s excellent position you can take a lots of excursions in the nearby and see beautiful landscapes such as the marble quarries, Cinque Terre, Golfo dei Poeti in Lerici, Portovenere, Pisa, Lucca and Florence.
